With the new radio in hand, you should be able to find an appropriate plug to match the 2 up. Make sure you know the pin outs of the Ford plug under the dashboard. __________________ |

Explain what radio you have installed, and they can probably give you a part number that will work. I did this when I changed out the radio in my DP, and both came back with a part number for a harness. The guy at Metra went a bit farther, asked for a photo of the existing connector to make sure it was what I needed. __________________ |

Is your existing radio a Ford or another brand installed by the MH manufacturer? The reason I ask is my original radio was an Audiovox installed by the MH manufacturer. My new radio came with a pigtail. Using original radio schematic I matched the new radio pigtail to the correct wires. Works fine, I soldered and heat shrinked all the connections. __________________ |

Using the wiring diagram with the new and old radio and a soldering iron, I made my own adapter. Was really simple and I did it sitting in a campground in Wyoming as the original radio went out while on a cross country trip. Good luck with the replacement. __________________ |
